The tools below are mandatory for any serious Network Marketer that wants to build their MLM business online. It's done by creating relationships online. I am not talking about buying leads, auto responders, mirroring sites, or any other "Advertising" method. That is what all of those things amount to. 

I'm talking about building real relationships that just happened to be initiated on the Internet. Relationships that you enjoy and bring abundance to all areas of your life - including your bank account.  

Yes, I do take a more Spiritual Approach to Network Marketing and I invite you to do the same. 

You may just find you like it! 

Here are the critical elements for your online "relationship" campaign. Do not begin until these are in place.

Introduction Page

Network Marketing is about YOU! Your Introduction Page is YOU on the Net!

Your Introduction Page is your single most important tool.  This is where people from all over the world can come and actually meet you! When you meet someone new you typically chat about things of mutual interest, finding things you have in common.  Basically, getting to know each other.  Right?

Well, your Introduction Page is your calling card on the Internet. It's a way for people to get to know you. It also helps you find people that are a "good fit" to work with you in your MLM business. When we get done you'll know how to have people you like, people interested in the same things you are, coming to YOU. And, if they are nice and interested in others, (and who would possibly want the other kind:) they will be asking you about your MLM business!  I include my Introduction Page in every email I send and every web page I own.

Later when I talk about making friends online you'll see how important your Introduction page is! There are several places you can get a good Introduction Page.  

I use a community called Powerful Intentions because it has everything in one place. It's also very highly ranked, so if you participate in a forum- or start your own- it will already have a big boost in the search engines and deliver substantial traffic that you otherwise would have never received. I used to maintain 4 different web sites (picture, blog, Bio, etc). 

I didn't get rid of all 4 of those sites I used to maintain.

 Blog Marketing

Blogs are online diaries or journals where people write their thoughts, poems, or anything else that comes to mind.  One of the things you MUST HAVE is a blog.  Why? Because search engines love blogs. They get their name from the original term "web log", which people eventually shortened to "Blog". 

Read this article about blogs.   

Your Blog will become one of your most important traffic generating tools. All the blogging sites are very highly ranked. The search engines love all the fresh content and the fact there's so much of it. They also weight links from the blogs more heavily as they believe the verbiage and information contained is coming from "real people" and not "commercial" interests. 

When you place a link in your blog, the search engines think that the highly ranked blog site is "recommending" your site.   That's one of teh reasons that link exchanges work.

Mark people as friends! When people mark you as a friend it creates a link from their blog to your blog. Its in their profile usually, but the search engines find it! That link from them to you even, as a friend, will count as one more link to your blog! All links to your blog give your blog more "credibility" with the search engines! 

So get a blog! Make friends and have fun! Later, I will show you how to put it all together to attract everything you want in your MLM business.

The easiest example is to show you my blog (notice how I worked that link in here:) and then for you to go to our blog training. You will want to make sure you use a blog that the search engines can find. For example, people should be able to read your blog without logging in or registering to become a member of anything.

Photo Albums

Hopefully you're starting to get the picture. You will have tons of people coming to your introduction page, blog, and your other web resources I mention here. This is all for YOU to sort THEM out so you end up only talking to people that you enjoy. A big part of someone getting to know you is actually get to see where you live, what you do, what's important to you. 

As they say a picture is worth a thousand words! Look at theses Home Based Business Pictures. Send me your picture and I will put it there with  link to your site! These are my pictures. Do you see how you get a really good idea of who they are and what they're all about. If you find someone really interesting, doesn't it make it easier to contact them? You already pretty much know them! 

There are two places I recommend to get a photo album.  The largest is Picture Trail. I dropped that and use Powerful Intentions now.

Newsletters - Become a Publisher!

Your Newsletter allows you to follow up as much as you want at NO ADDITIONAL COST.  This would cost you a fortune offline!

You need a newsletter.  You need to ask every single person you talk to on the phone if you can add them to your newsletter. You need to ask every visitor to your web site to subscribe to your news letter. You need to send an email to every auto-responder or list you have asking those "leads" get off that responder and onto your newsletter!

Are you getting the picture. One of the most powerful things about the internet is that it allows you to follow up with people at NO ADDITIONAL COST! Marketing offline you would have to mail a tape or brochure. With a newsletter you can check in all the time with your new friend and it doesn't cost you a penny more to check in 100 times or even 1,000 times with a 100 friends or 10,000 of them.

I publish one of the best MLM Newsletters. Once I finish writing a newsletter I publish it all over the Internet and people flock to my site looking for Home Based Business Ideas!  I'll show you lots of places to promote your newsletter in our Newsletter Training. One example is the Library where you can publish articles and others can select them to display on their web site! 

First of all subscribe to a couple newsletters and pay attention to what you like and don't like about them. 

Make sure you subscribe to at least one newsletter unrelated to your Network Marketing business. Pick a hobby or something you want to learn more about.

Then subscribe to a good Network Marketing newsletter. One that I can highly recommend is mine!

Forums

Forums are great for meeting like minded people and creating valuable links to your site!

Forums are one of the most under used resources.  Search engines love forums. They quickly move up to the top of the search engine on key words that get used over and over again in the forums.

Forums are very important for two reasons. One they are one of the best places to meet people. You can find forums on just about any topic you can imagine. Most allow you to have a "signature file".  That's a small link at the bottom where you sign your name to what you have written.

TIP: If your signature has a link for a Bio page or Photo Album, it almost never breaks any "non commercial" rules the forum might have for posts.

Every time you post you create another link to your Bio or Photo Album. You're also becoming part of a community of people that share your interests.

You can also start YOUR OWN FORUM. This is even better. Now you have credibility and you're in charge and the topic can be on anything you like!

    Putting It All Together

The above tools are absolute requirements if you're serious about marketing your MLM business online. 

Every one of these items can be found free on the net, however, you'll find the best ones, with the best features, can be had for only a few bucks a month.  

I use Powerful Intentions now for almost everything because it's a community I love, it's crawling with people that are NOT already in MLM and it has everything a Networker needs in one place. I even host a Web Marketing Forum and Workshop there that discusses each of these tools and how to use them. Another community that offers some of these tools and MLM training is the home based business forums. 

You need to look around and find ones that are easy to use, allow you to place links to your other sites, and will bring you traffic because they themselves are highly ranked! 

You're at this site because you want to be a successful online marketer.  How can you possibly get to know people online if you have nothing online that tells people about you?  

Your Introduction Page and Photos will be your prospects favorite pages.  It will also allow YOU to sort THEM!  You watch and see. They'll know all about you before you talk to them and that makes the conversation much more enjoyable. They'll be asking YOU questions. FUN ones! 

Here's how this helps sort your prospects. If someone thinks you're a jerk or a fruit cake their not gonna call you. That's a GOOD THING. Without the web page they would have called you and you both would have discovered this non-connection while on the phone together!  

You see, you need to be coming from abundance! Most Networkers are beating up their Uncle Fred and Aunt Frieda. That doesn't always work and too often, it's no fun! You need to find people LIKE YOU. If you've completed the Business Plan section in this website, you already know exactly who you're looking for and you're probably already having fun! That's how this business should work. Effortlessly and with ease!

This business really is as simple as helping other people find something they love to do and then showing them how they can have fun doing a lot of it!

Your blog, your participation in forums, and your other tools are the first steps to getting highly ranked by creating much needed quality links to your web site. You're not even on the radar until you get these in place.

Once these are in place then you can start getting traffic.
